Last week on HILAW!, Janvit racked up a surprising win over Jolo of Diomampolution - with a little bit of help.
This week, General Manager Joe Fabian scheduled a unique match for Janvit and the feuding Diomampolution. It would be a normal Tag Team match with Leiron and Jolo against Janvit, who has to find a partner willing to fight alongside him.
Having been rejected by almost half of the HILAW! locker room, Janvit was forced to do the match by himself, but just seconds before the bell rang, Mikko Hizon's music started. Hizon declared himself to be Janvit's partner, and the two acrobatic Superstars fought against the fluid synergy of Diomampolution. The battle went back and forth, until Jolo dropkicked Janvit onto the turnbuckle, making him a good target for Leiron's deadly Clothesline from Hell, and covering him up for the three count.
In the race for the Undisputed Championship, Fabian has named Pepi Moran as a contender, while the other contender will be revealed next week on HILAW!, 6 days before the Backlash pay-per-view. As for the Intercontinental Championship, the title match will be scheduled next week on HILAW!, with Mark Diomampo versus Massi Oracion. Mark has impressed the HILAW! fans after an amazing battle against Chris Guevara.
The rivalry between Vicky and Mayee for the Women's Championship has grown more intense. After Vicky's match with Tanee Fong, she was assaulted by her Backlash opponent. Backstage, Mayee requested a warm-up match next week to give Vicky a taste of what she'll experience on Sunday.
Tag Team Champions Rodney and Julian defeated the team of Paul Licarte and Aris Sabili in non-title action. After the match, Edmon Viroomal "V1" and Francis Liwanag entered the ring, declaring that their team would be challenging the Champions on Backlash for the Tag belts. In other action, Brian Guevara defeated Sung Min Cho in a "Choose Your Destiny" match, where the winner can choose to go for the Cruiserweight or Hardcore Title on Backlash, with a mystery opponent of the GM's choosing.
At the end of the show, the question as to who decimated Diomampolution last week has remained unanswered. Many claim it to be Hizon, but some people know otherwise. Stay tuned next Monday for HILAW!
